Guys,

I tried to configure the Blackbox here as a test. I see data is saved, but when I save the data to a BFLfile and open using CleanFlight Blackbox explorer I get an error saying file truncated / has no data





I tried different settings on the rating log from the min to the max logging rate.

Any idea ?

63Hz is far too low to provide any useful logging.

You should set the logging rate to either 1KHz, or at the minimum 500Hz. It won't give you much logging time, but what you log will at least be useful.

Note that there's a mode to enable logging via a switch. It's a good idea to configure a switch for this as you can turn on logging when you need it. Logging all the time when you have such limited memory is not a good idea as the flash chip will almost certainly be full when you really need to record a log.

I tried that also, you are right about the limitation in terms of flight time recorded for 2MB, but the problem is more basic, the log generated can´t be opened on CleanFlight Blackbox Explorer, regardless the logging rate chosen.

Hmmm.....

Just a thought, but as Cleanflight 2 is actually Betaflight, have you tried installing the Betaflight Black Box Viewer and seeing if you can view your logs with that?

Betaflight blackbox explorer seems to work, however the 2mb generated by the onboard is just few, very few seconds. I bit useless I think

There's a drop down list in the top right of the screen if more than one flight is present in the log. Did you look there to see if there was more than one log?

If you log at 500KHz, you should be able to get at least one flight logged.

The problem is those log files include several flights worth of logs, I ended up making a tool to split them: https://github.com/ilya-epifanov/betafli...-splitter/
