Here's my situation:

1. I've set the LiteRadio 2 SE to Frsky D8 mode (three red flashes when turning it on).
   
   
2. I push the bind button on the TinyHawk II (or run bind_rx in Betaflight CLI) and the red light flashes and the blue light stays solid
   
   
3. With the LiteRadio 2 SE already on, I push the bind button on the back and the red light flashes for ~10 seconds
   
   
4. After ~10 seconds the light on the LiteRadio 2 SE turns solid blue, but the lights on the TinyHawk II stay the same (red light flashing and blue solid).
   

     
Any ideas? I've never done anything like Betaflight or binding radios, so I'm flying blind here. After looking at the manuals for the LiteRadio 2 SE and the TinyHawk II Freestyle, I've run out of ideas and I'm at my wits end.

Some background: totally new to Betaflight and FPV. I recently purchased a Tinyhawk 2 Freestyle, a BetaFPV LiteRadio 2 SE, and some EV800D goggles.


I attempted to setup everything yesterday with intention to fly for first time after weeks of practicing on velocidrone, however, I cannot, for the life of me, get this quad to Bind to the liteRadio 2.
I have tried everything. Followed all instructional videos on the matter, followed every instruction to the letter, no dice.

I was following an instructional video that Joshua Bardwell about installing Beta flight and BLhelisuite, when the part about downloading Impulse Driver Fixer came up.
I started up the software and Betaflight went to DFU and proceeded to do it's thing. I then updated to latest firmware 4.2.6.

I did this on completely, out of the box, stock settings and had not even tried binding radio to quad before this.

Did I accidentally screw something up in the Flight Controller by doing this? The radio is on the correct protocol (D8), and also in Betaflight. I did flash back to older firmware and CL dump from exmax website, still having the same issue.


I spent the entire day, literally, trying to figure this out to no avail. Can someone please help me here? I greatly appreciate any suggestions, comments or help of any sort. Thank you.

I had that radio and found it difficult to bind to the TH as well. Set the radio to D8 and do the bind thing. Connect the TH to beta flight and go into the CLI. Type bind_rx OR bind_rx_spi in the CLI and click disconnect (the command differs from BF versions).

I don't have a LiteRadio but I did have a hard time when I first tried to bind my TH2 / TH2FS to my X-Lite in D8 and the only thing that I remember working for me was using the CLI in Betaflight (4.1.1 at the time) with the 'bind_rx' command ... its been a long time but I think I remember having to type 'save' in the CLI after waiting a bit to actually get it to work...

Yes I'm having the exact same problem. I also have a BETAFPV LiteRadio 2 SE and a TinyHawk Freestyle. Followed all the directions to the T still all I get is solid blue LED with red LED flashing. The most action I get is when I hit the beeper switch all the props start doing a little twitching seizure thing thats all. HELP ME PLEASE IM RTF!!!!!

I have the same problem with my tinyhawk. Have you found away to fix this
