Betaflight might be releasing their own GUI
#1
Just saw someone posted this...

Looks like Betaflight might be doing their own configurator GUI?

It will have all the cli features unique to betaflight in the GUI, so it's not limited to how fast Cleanflight GUI gets updated.

Be aware only 2.8.1 and above can use this betaflight configurator. For older firmwares still use Cleanflight configurator.

Update 22/06/2016
Configurator download: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...hcocjccjao

I had a feeling that was going to happen since they're starting to repurpose un-used boxes i.e. yaw D gain without labeling them. Fingers crossed that's a real thing

Configurator is here for some time now: https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight-configurator . It's recently being updated - now mostly GUI stuff, but Boris is going to work on implementing betaflight exclusive stuff soon from what I've read.

Link to repo: https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight-configurator
Find me on Youtube and Instagram. I currently fly: DRC Aura, NOX5R, Minimalist 112 and drive a scrap RC car

As someone completely new to all this, should I start out with betaflight rather than cleanflight? I have not used either before.

I started with Cleanflight and then moved onto Betaflight. I've had problems with Betaflight before, but that was due to my old ESCs. Currently I am using Betaflight with Airmode and it's great really smooth and locked in.

I'm hanging on to my first just so I can show my grand kids one day what it was like when I was they're age. That and an old TV with no remote and with rabbit ears ha!
