I'm having trouble with betaflight: when I move the sticks on my taranis qx7 nothing moves on the receiver menu of betaflight. I've got an F405mk2 fc and xm+ receiver. I've tried many things such as softserial and soldering the sbus cable on the uninverted sbus pin of the receiver thinking that might be the problem. Still nothing.

That should be a relatively easy fix as I just had to get help yesterday for the same exact thing. Here is where you should start. There are also several more articles that are relevant to start using the forum. This one with the link should be enough to at least help get your problem solved Trust this is the best way for people to see what's going on. There just is so much info as I'm sure your realizing now to go through.

You don’t need to do that just continue with this one just post the diff all and you wiring pictures. If you have any questions about how to do something just ask. I’m a certified computer dummy, I’ve had several issues resolved here over the past year.
