3 15-Jun-2016, 12:49 AM (This post was last modified: 15-Jun-2016, 10:40 AM by Oscar.) I am looking to build a 250 quad for the first time and the only thing I am really struggling on choosing is a flight controller. I would like to have OSD without having to get another piece of equipment. I have heard about the Beerotor F3 FC with OSD. Is that any good?
Thanks!

139 The Emax Skyline32+OSD is also another option, performance is similar to a Naze32 board

4 The thing about all "in one" is that if one goes you have to replace the whole thing or add another part any way

3 If OSD is not something I want, what would be the best FC to use?

1 If you're a new pilot i recommend the NAZE rev5 with PPM if not go with a Xracer F303 v3, or Cyclone.

1 One thing I'd check before buying a FC is its layout, and how it works out with your frame. e.g. The SPRacing3 Mini has the USB coming out of the side, and the motor pins towards the rear, which is ideal for a frame like the F1-6 or ZMR250. I recently replaced a broken SPR3 Mini with a Skyline F3, and the layout is pretty inconvenient. The Motor pins and USB are opposite eachother, so you have to choose between tidy cabling and easy USB access. Theres no easy way to achieve both unless you direct solder the ESCs.
