Hi All,

I am a beginner with the following setup:

ZMR 250 Frame
Naze32 Rev6 FC
ZTW Spider 12A Opto Oneshot125 ESCs
Dys BE1806 2300KV Motors
Diatone ZMR 250 V2.1 PDB
Gemfan 5030 Props
FrySky D4R-II receiver
Taranis X9D Plus Transmitter

I intend to start off flying LOS, but will get some FPV gear later.

With all the information out there I am totally confused as to what firmware to run on my quad: Cleanflight, Baseflight, raceflight, betaflight ???
After deciding which firmware to use, I am unsure of which PID controller to choose ... LOL

Can someone please give me some advice on where to start?

Hey Dartec! Looks like a nice build. I'd probably start with the latest Cleanflight. Stock pid's on mw24 or rewrite should get you flying nicely. Betaflight 2.6.1 seems pretty stable, but the self level modes (angle, horizon) are still being worked on and may not fly to well for you if you plan on using them.

I agree with Bandook, Cleanflight would be more than enough to get you up in the air. Until you are confident in building/tuning a quadcopter, then you can start look for more performance and start tinkering with Betaflight even Raceflight..

but don't waste your time on Baseflight... it's dead

I will load Cleanflight and use the Rewrite PID controller.
