There is so much information and so many different setups. It's pretty daunting to someone just entering the hobby. I can't thank you guys enough. I've decided on a couple things, but the rest I'm open to suggestions. Radio: FrSky QX7 (Mode 2)
Goggles: Eachine EV800D
Camera: RunCam Eagle 2 Motors: 4X Racerstar 2600KV
Frame: Martian II 220 w/PDB (possibly this instead because I dig purple anno but no PDB)
PDB: ESC:
FC:
Receiver:
Battery: I understand that this may not be all the best stuff, but we all start somewhere right? Pretty flexible on the frame type/size. On a side note, I would really like a good OSD which I will make full use of. Telemetry would be a plus too. My goals here are the experience of flight, quality of visuals, and sensation of speed. The big benefit with an F4 is being able to run dynamic filtering without breaking a sweat and still have CPU power left for the next clever feature that the Betaflight guys add in the next major release. Just curious which F4 AIO has multiple UART inversion? ESCs, anything that meets your amp needs. 25-35amp ratings should cover it. Blheli S support Dshot600 or blheli 32. ESCs are all pretty good these days. I run Spedix, cheap, light and works. I also have Emax, Little Bees, Racerstar, DYS, and none have given me any issue. PDB, you will not need one with AIO FC. Battery - Turnigy NanoTech are great without breaking the bank. Buy the one with higher C. Tattu are great. Heard great things about Drone Labs if you are in the UK. I can't get them here in the States. I didn't see a VTX. TBS Unify HV pro or race, tramp or matek. I don't know if anyone mentioned to you that video feed from 5.8ghz VTX is far from HD. If you are expecting that, you will be disappointed. Videos you see on YouTube are recorded on GoPro. You said you want to get into aerial photography. This setup is not going to help you with that. For AP, you want a setup with attitude and GPS hold. Can't do it it one word, it'll have to be two: Holybro Shuriken You'll have less chance of breaking it than you will the Wizard with it's poorly designed composite fibreglass/carbon body.
