Hi guys,

Brand new to FPV and looking to build my first drone. I've been doing a bit of research but have no background in electronics so all the info is a bit overwhelming in terms of what parts I need to purchase for my build. I am a videographer and looking to use the drone for more cinematic purposes rather than freestyle/racing. 

I want to purchase the new DJI system with the air unit and goggles but I am now slightly confused as to what parts I DON'T need to purchase and that are already covered in the DJI system. 

Am I right in assuming the only other main parts I need to buy are the frame, motors, FC, ESC and PDB, props and batteries? The air unit covers all the transmitting and receiving as well as the FPV camera right? So no need to purchase those parts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you buy the DJI bundle with Air unit, goggles and controller then your assumptions are correct.

But you can also buy the bundle with Air units and goggles. In this case, you will need to also have your own radio and receiver.
