and by looking on the images it "looks" like one side is adhesive... second seems to be silicone which would be nice

9 It's adhesive on one side, i have asked it on BG.
But what is the best what to secure your lipo, with this kind rubber or with hook and loop tape

15 why not both?
between carbon and battery you put the anti slip mat (or cutted gecko mat
) and you put a strap overall to hold it secure... (i add always 2 straps as i belive one will always break)
