Battery anti-slip pad
#1
I can't remember who asked for an anti-slip pad for the battery, but it looks like banggood has once again read the post on the forum   Cool

That was me. I just looked up the data sheet on this stuff. It has adhesive on both sides. http://www.masstech.com.sg/pdf/9448A.pdf

(Not sure I want to permanently attach my battery to the quad.) Big Grin

I've got some stuff coming from aliexpress - I'll report back when it arrives.

it doesn't look like it has adhesive on both sides if you look at the pictures, but as you say, the datasheet does say that. why would they come up with something that is kind of useless as an anti slip pad? maybe version 2 will be better.

Thanks sloscotty for doing the research  Thumbs Up

The data sheet I looked at was for 9448A/AB.  Maybe only the AB is double sided.  However, I did find some sheets on Ebay that clearly showed the 9448A label on the product and it sure looked like double-sided to me.  But I may add one of these to my next banggood order ($1.29 - not much) just to make sure.

<troll>you guys are just mean... it clearly states "anti slip" and after attaching it ... it will never slip so it does as it is told Wink </troll>

and by looking on the images it "looks" like one side is adhesive... second seems to be silicone which would be nice Smile

It's adhesive on one side, i have asked it on BG.
But what is the best what to secure your lipo, with this kind rubber or with hook and loop tape

why not both?
between carbon and battery you put the anti slip mat (or cutted gecko mat Smile) and you put a strap overall to hold it secure... (i add always 2 straps as i belive one will always break)

Guys,

I just use this and cut it up to the size of the lipo. It works well http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/eco-gr...p.html#srp
