BAT_
#1
Hi,

Can somebody give me more information about the Crossfire telemetry sensor BAT_? In can't find any information about this sensor in the Crossfire Manual (see screenshot).

I think the percentage related to RxBt, but how is this calculated? Is this based on betaflight settings?

The BAT_ sensor in Crossfire is battery capacity percentage remaining based on how much battery current has already been consumed (the Capa sensor value) compared to the full capacity of the battery (which you configure in Betaflight).

Thanks! I already thought something like that. However, it seems that this is not entirely correct. My capacity in Betaflight (power & battery tab) is set to 0 mAh. When I plug in a battery on storage voltage, the value is 41%.

If you don't have battery capacity configured (i.e. it is set as ZERO) then maybe the remaining battery percentage is calculated based on voltage instead. I'm not sure because I don't have any logs for that scenario. I always configure the capacity of my battery in Betaflight.

I just looked at the telemetry data logs on my transmitter and the percentage is definitely based on the battery capacity that I've configured in Betaflight (which in my case is 1300mAh) and not the voltage of my battery (which is a 6S LiPo). Below is a spreadsheet showing the logged battery telemetry data values from one of my recent flights...

Great idea to check the sensor logs. I'm relatively new in this hobby and was forgotten that sensor data can be logged. I will log my data so I can check it myself.

Thanks for your help!
