Well evidently the Youtube algorithms are not very good. I posted these 2 comments on his page a few months ago and they are still there. Makes you wonder.........

I was going to ask, how do you know they were deleted. In general, YouTube will remove comments with links in them.  Sometimes it depends on the size of the channel or the views on the video, but most of the time the comments are just gone.  However, you will often be able to see them, but no one else can.  That's just how YouTube seems to work.

He sent me an email saying he didn't delete them. I take him at his word but I find it weird that Youtube cant get their spam filters right so some comments with video links are deleted/removed and some are not. As far as me being able to see deleted comments, on his DJI drone video I can see them, on the prior video where I posted 2 different links to videos I can still see them.
