I like banggood. It's taken me a while to adjust to it as I hadn't purchased much from china before. You really can't order anything that you urgently need from them because you never really know when you're going to get it. This of course is try for many international shipments.

Huge selection, great prices, and after a while you get used to the "surprise your package is here" feeling and learn to like it!

I've probably bought about 30% of all FPV stuff that I've bought so far from them but only about 10% of my money has been spent there :p Mostly because of good prices, but also because I usually buy the little stuff there like a rubber work mat, small tools, switch covers, etc.

When I first got into this hobby I bought my Taranis from them.  The Web site showed it in stock when I bought it, but after a month it didn't show up.  Looking at the posting again, it showed out of stock.  I contacted them and they gave me a date that it would be back in stock and it would ship when that happened.  That date came and went...still, “out of stock”.  About a week later it showed in stock...for about three days then it showed out of stock again.  I contacted them again to be sure it had been shipped.  I was told that their shipment had been delayed and it would be shipped when it came in.  Additionally, I was told that it had never been in stock since the day I ordered it (even though the web site had showed it in stock again).  Anyway, long story short, this happened twice more.  So I canceled my order, but they didn't want to do that....they wanted to give me credit on something else.  I finally had to threaten legal action and then they refunded my money....after another week.  I don’t know if the threat had any bearing on it because if they don’t have any resources in the country the order originated from, I don’t think there is a thing you can do about it (not a 100% sure about that).

I went somewhere else and had my Taranis in about 8 days.  I swore I would never buy anything from them again.  Of course I have because they do have great prices.  However, I buy only very inexpensive items and I buy things that I do not have an immediate need for.  If I can find said item ANYWHERE else, I will buy there instead ....even at a higher price.

In my opinion and as far as I am concerned, the way Banggood conducts business at worst, constitutes fraud and at best is unethical.  Just my dollars’ worth……

you werent cheated at all by this offer but write a post, the last sentense is not ok for me.

thats a usless rant.
the mistake does seems to be the startprice, they should do it like european and americans, write a higher unreal price on it? thats just everyday marketing we have to deal with.
there is never any importance for a price from the past, there is no importance what the startprice was. if someone like to know the value of money for a product, intofpv is a great source to ask about a product.

there is no choice to buy not from china if you fly fpv.

No matter what, I really like Bangood. For the people, who are not in US, there are not so many options as they have. Bangood have good offers. What they did is marketing. Many e-commerce companies use similar strategy to sell their products even your local supermarket. That's why FPV forums exist. I don't think it is correct to perceive their marketing strategy as "Fraud Good".

Most people on here are already fully aware of my situation but I also won't be buying from B**g***d again after they screwed me over on a $700 order and their incompetent customer service then spent more than 5 months dealing with situation in a completely unacceptable manner. Only when other people get burnt in the same way will they then fully understand and appreciate why a company like B**g***d doesn't deserve anyone's money. The link to my thread is below for anyone who hasn't already seen it and is considering handing over a large sum of money to B**g***d.

I've said it before on here and I will say it again, but if people must buy direct from China then please support the small businesses instead who are just trying to make an honest living by buying from AliExpress (always pay by credit card for protection) and stop feeding a corporate giant like B**g***d who don't care about customer service and only care about profit. You will find the same items cheaper on AliExpress without all of the fake marketing BS, no fake VIP system to try and make you feel special when they don't actually give a toss, and a points system where most of the time you can't actually use the point's you've accumulated for any financial advantage. If B**g***d had the same sort of customer service as Amazon then there would be no issue, but they are a million miles away from anything that Amazon can offer. It is only when you have an issue they you then find out how good a company really is.

People also need to understand that all of the B**g***d YouTube product reviews are just shill reviews. When you understand how the B**g***d review model works you will then also realise pretty much straight away all of their product reviews on YouTube and elsewhere are just shills that enable the reviewer to continue to receive more (free) products from B**g***d that they can either keep or give away to increase the revenue generating capabilities of their channel. None of those reviews are worth you wasting your precious time watching.

I will no longer publicise any B**g***d products on this forum. I was spending money with them almost every month for 2 years but that was before they showed their true colours. I've not spent a single dollar of mine with them now for nearly 6 months.

At the end that is all that matters, revenue, these companies go after profit oc and take in account client dropouts vs new clients and so on. I started my fpv journey with hobbyking, yes the good old hobbyking, even though I was paying more I tought that it was worth it. I bought 6 graphene batteries from them, one of the panther ones lost a cell after 6 flights, with zero crashes and in perfect condition. I took photos of the prestine condition of the bat and made photos measuring the cells... All for nothing. They didn't care at all, and it was a 20€ battery. They didn't offer any solution, replacement or so on. Since then, they lost a customer. At least Ali and even BG or GB seem to care more about customers for these price ranges. I bought from "local" stores also and didn't get any better treatment to solve problems just like HK. I guess that it all come to how much you get screwed vs other advantages in buying from these chinese vendors.

Hey Snow. I think you misunderstood me. For your situation, you are 100% right. I think you haven't found a solution yet to your problem. What I wanted to say is Bangood makes non US citizens life easier in terms of buying RC electronics etc. They regularly make discounts and coupons. This is what I like about them. When it comes to fraud good, every big companies are doing the same marketing strategies.Their main aim is to make as much profit as they can. This is just one method in business. It is not fair, but nothing wrong about it. I know that Bangood customer support is bad. We know it from your situation. After your problem, I am also afraid of buying  buying expensive things on Bangood. Again, what I wanted to explain is how marketing strategy works and why Bangood is still one of the most preffered e-commerce site for non US citizens. I exclude Bangood customer service from everything I said positive about them because their customer service is really bad!!!.

Products reviews = they only accept and publish good reviews
Products discount = they started to put all the products on fake sales or promo so you can't use your affiliate points nor you can use coupons.
Products promo = they set a fake and overpriced starting price and they show a fake discount. And no, this is ILLEGAL in Europe (i don't know about USA), therefore EU Shops can't use this strategy becouse they could face a legal lawsuit.

So yes, their marketing strategy is pure fraud to me or if you prefer, they consider their customers as totally dumbs. And i'm done with feeling a dumb in their hands.

In the end, they don't pay commission to affiliates using stupid excuses.
So i finally quit it (and i was vip 5 who spent 5000$ in 2020 on their site).

it doesnt matter where the lines are set about illegality.
the practice about writing a price which is unrealistic doesnt come from chine, because of this there are laws about in europe and america. the laws doesnt mean it doesnt happen...
the main difference is, it is needed to do a unreal price first in eu or us befor you can cheat a huge price drop. there is no true difference, its cheating anyway. just one practice is not allowed, but happens anyway.
the only true law against the sort of this marketing would be to allow only one price, no previous price, on a product. eu and us arent any piece better this way in truth.

if you trust in such marketing, you are hopeless anyway in the market.
it seems you was beleiving in all these marketing. no company like to do gifts, they like to catch your money, mention about this while watching an offer could probably help.

as you have an italian name, you should know law can be bended a lot; berlusconi the bender...
we shouldnt go into nationalistic thoughts, not italy is bad because of bad practices, some people in italy are bad.
"thats china, so everything is allowed" its just a stupid summary.

im not a bg fanboy, i buy there sometimes. sure there are downsides like shipping times, replacements and shipping times, support practices, warranty... snows example of their support...
buut how they promote things, try to bind costumers to their shop is nothing specialy from china, just state of art in marketing.

i just buy these unbeatable inexpensive products unavailable somewhere else from bg, i had to wait for products a long time, i was many times in contact with the support, the support fixed any issue i had, the support was overall very ok to nice in my cases.

I never believed those marketing.  My job is doing web marketing and advertising, i smell the fake promos kilometers aways my friend. I just brought an example of the bad business conduct i noticed on Banggood.
Yes you're probably right i shouldn't have gone into natinalistic matter,  of course not every shop in China acts like that. But lately this year Banggood have turned all his positive sides (like coupons , discounts, vip points) in fakes and useless features, that's what i noticed and that's why i dedice to quit, especially when they didn't pay commission for my sales.

I'd be interested to know if anyone ever managed to use their vouchers or points and how much they really saved by doing so. You can only use them if there are NO items in your basket that are on a promo. How often does that happen? And if you purposely make sure all the items in your basket are not on promo so you can use your points/vouchers you end up paying the same or more with shipping than if you just wait for them to go on a promo deal. So any vouchers and points they give you are completely useless and pointless (literally).

I even used click-through cashback websites to buy stuff from B**g***d but on more occasions than not they just refused the cashback payment.

My iFlight CRYSTAL antenna order from AliExpress just got delivered today in less than 12 days. The product was cheaper than B**g***d and delivery was free. B**g***d charge for delivery (plus scam insurance) and have never delivered anything to me that quickly.
