0 31-May-2017, 03:24 AM (This post was last modified: 31-May-2017, 03:28 AM by ohdino.) Well, my first build, maiden flight went awesome, to say the least. I was able to fly first time, and fortunately crash and break a prop in the process. Success!!!
Now for my issue(s).
I noticed when I landed after flying for a minute, and tried to disarm via aux switch 1, it was not responding. After flipping the switch over a period of ten plus seconds it started to work again. It armed and disarmed with the switch as expected sitting there. Take off again, land, and same thing, after ten plus seconds it started working again. The same can be said for the other four aux channels that I have set up.
Other aux channels are beeper, flight mode, and failsafe.
Emax F3 with built in OSD
Flysky i6x with i6b receiver via ibus
Cleanflight v2.0.0
Dys xs20a esc's
I tried looking at every setting in Cleanflight but could not find anything that would cause this behaviour.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Also check your modes tab in cleanflight and be sure that when you flip your switches the tick mark is very clearly within the range you have set to activate arming.

0 Please also note that if you try to disarm the motors using a switch and you have any throttle they won't disarm and will continue to spin until you reduce throttle to zero.
It happens to me sometimes,
Post a screenshot of your modes setting, also with the radio ON test if switch is actually arming/disarming motors on this screen, if the mode is selected by the designated channel/rate, it will be "green" otherwise will be gray, see what happens.

30 Can it be you disabled "disarm regardless of throttle value" on the config page? In this case it would only disarm at zero throttle (throttle below min_check).
Also as ryan said, make sure you use enough space on the mode tab. The jitter on channels can be much bigger than what it looks like.

0 Thanks for the replies.
I adjusted the spacing on the modes tab for everything to a wider range, 100 per side. Works better on the bench, now to test outside.
All channels on the radio are working as advertised.
The only one that I seemed to have lost is the 3-way switch in CleanFlight that I had setup for acro/angle/horizon mode(s). It now only registers two out of three? 1500 and 2000, and not flip to 1000? It was working initially. Bad receiver?

72 There isn't a specific 'mode' for acro, so if neither angle or horizon are selected then you are in acro mode.

30 Are you sure the switch works in the tx? Can you monitor channels in the tx to make sure it goes down to 1000?
