I just did the modification last night.  A new X-acto knife cuts through the rubber mount like butter, making it quite easy to modify.  A sharp chisel also helps if you have one.

If you have a 3D printer then that is probably the way to go though

Good find. It looks like a pig to print though...

Got a buddy to print it for me, worked out great. I would recommend printing in flex tho, the once I got was kind of hard to work with.

Nice!

The whole idea of the 'dimes' being made in flexible material is to isolate the camera from vibration, so I'd certainly be looking at printing some with flexible filament.

Once I have my main printer back online, I'll see how horrible these are to print in Ninja Semiflex.

I was wondering if you were able to hook up S.port telemetry and SmartAudio in addition to SBUS with this flight controller.

Also, are you using the OSD? How is it? Anyone using BetaFlight with this FC or is everyone using dRonin?

Nice build.  I did one about 6 months ago.  I went with Betaflight FW.  This was one of the most difficult tune I had to do.  It took a while, but I was able to get it flying properly.  Well build frame.

I used a Runcam Swift, so I did not have trouble with the lens going pass the cage.

I did hook up all three. S.BUS to the receiver port at the bottom of the board, SmartPort to the multiport's TX pin and SmartAudio to the serial port on the right hand side of the board. All according to the manual.

I can't remember if all of them worked. I'm using dRonin on the RE1.

At the moment, my Chameleon is dismantled. Originally, I used a Unify Pro powered from the mPB's filtered 5V output, but I got horrible diagonal lines on the FPV video, so bad that they made it hard to fly in FPV. I'm going to try using a Unify Pro HV instead and either power it from the mPB's filtered battery voltage pins, or directly from the battery if that doesn't make the video noise go away.

Thanks for replying. Good thing I already bought the HV version of the Unify Pro! ;-) I think I’m gonna go for it.

Have you found that also to be the case with the Eagle? I've got a Chameleon on the way, and the Eagle would be my first choice, but I think I read somewhere that the Chameleon was actually designed with the Foxeer Monster or Arrow in mind?

I have runcam swift RR edition and I think it fits fine. You just have to change the back plate (It comes with an extra plate which is flat)
