34 I was looking for a antenna that is a bit more sturdy robust than the aomway antenna, so I ordered a DYS CP from banggood. Here is a quick comparison between the Aomway and DYS antenna and it actually looks like the DYS is doing better than the aomway

34 yeah, that is the antenna. It is not as though is I thought it would be. I had the case open due to a prop strike, but I taped it up with some electrical tape. I think t will hold just fine if you tape it before you use it. I am waiting for a Foxeer antenna as well which i will try do a similar test with, as well as a TBS triumph borrrowed from a friend in the near future..
The VRX was the Realacc RX5808 diversity without the second module (non diversity) paired with a Aomway antenna. I'm waiting for a immersion RC patch antenna to fit on the diversity module.

3 20-Sep-2016, 09:39 AM (This post was last modified: 20-Sep-2016, 09:39 AM by phara.) My idea (as I really like the Aomway atennas): 3D printed case for it with some polyurethane foam in it. This should be indestructible. The foam is not conductive so it shouldn't reduce the range. Am I missing something?

When it was cured, it was hard and light. I have ordered some gorilla glue to try this out myself. I couldn't find the video right now
I you'll ever find it again, please share
