Aomway TX001 Adjustable 5.8G 40CH FPV Transmitter
#1
A new switchable power output VTX by Aomway is on BangGood. Its a 5.8G 40 channel It can be changed from 25mW to 200mW to 600mW of power output.  One of the cool features I see is that you can get an optional 50mm SMA extension without the need for a Pigtail. This should be useful to save wait while also protecting your VTX.

(From BangGood description)

Channel: 40CH 5658-5945mhz (Raceband)
Wide Power Input: 6-28V
Current: 12V/200mW/150mA
Channel&Frequency Adjustable Button
Indicator LED to show the frequency and power
Mic: Swithable, when open the Mic., it will occupy one audio channel
Output Voltage: 4.9-5.1V for camera
Audio:  Stereo Output
Format: Auto regonize NTSC/PAL
Connector:  TX001A SMA short conenctor;TX001B 50mm SMA extend cord connector
Dimension: 29x25x10mm
Weight(without antenna): TX001A: 11g
                                              TX001B: 12g
This VTX only weighs 11g or 12g with the pigtail. Compare that to a 600mW immersionrc VTX that weighs 18g

One thing that seems concerning is the solder joint on the SMA connector. It looks quite sloppy. Hopefully that is just the one sample and the other ones will be better

i don't think it does can't find it on the unit.
also it has audio inputs means it probably doesn't have a mic built-in.

Any other users of this VTX? Curious on heat dissipation and any issues folks are facing.
