Antenna Fix
#1
Hey all,
So the inevitable happened the other day and I got my drone stuck in a tree. After 2 hours of chucking stuff, I finally got it down with the only damage being some broken props and some damage on the antenna. So, really not bad. One thing that worries me is that on my antenna it looks like the cap came off the top and I am not sure how to fix it or if I should leave it so I came to your guy's expertise.

Here is some photos:

You can 3D print a cap if you have access to one. Otherwise, it doesn't effect your reception. It is more vulnerable to damage now.

I do have access to a 3D printer. I looked more at the antenna and the kinda yellow-orange plastic circle does have a tear in it. I do not know if this would change your mind about affecting reception.

I went out and flew today and my goggles did have more lines than normal but I was also flying in a spot that I have never flown in before so not sure if it was the antenna or location. I am going to fly at my house tomorrow to see if it goes back to normal.
