another binding issue, please help

hello all, I received my savagebee bnf with frsky from newbeedrone. When attempting to bind, the red light continues to flash rapidly, I had the same issue with the acrobee beebrain pro. customer service said to change spi reciever protocol to frysky x which I did and it ended up binding just fine. I did the same thing with the savage bee, changed spi receiver protocol to frysky x but still no luck binding. the red light just blinks rapidly after hitting bind on the controller. any suggestions? this is the dump.

Just tried that, no luck, tried it from the receiver tab as well. In the ports tab all of the rows under serial rx are shaded grey. In the configuration tab under receiever protocol I've tried frsky D, X, and X LBT no luck with any of them. Not sure what else to try changing.

(not sure if its helpfull, isnt it an spi receiver, did you choose spi and frskyD ?)


if it is this board, there is an issue with the onboard receiver, i guess you will receive a replacement or support if so

When you use SPI receiver, you don't need to toggle serial rx in a port.

I am not quite sure what is the problem. Consider flashing with the latest firmware.

I've found success! So I was randomly scrolling around newbeedrones website and I came across a review. Guy had same issue pretty much and his simple solution wasss...put receiever protocol to spi: frsky_x, then put transmitter into bind mode. Finally go to cli and type bind_rx, then type save. Worked like a charm. So glad I came across that random review! Although after typing bind_rx into cli it just said "binding" the entire time..never said binding successful or complete. So I went ahead and just typed save and it worked. Easy fix for such a headache of a problem. @ voodoo u were right pretty much! I did try it when u said to but like I said it never said bind complete or anything so I didnt think it worked. Thanks again for everyone help!
