Angle mode drifting, but fine in Horizon mode
#1
Hey guys!
My drone pulls side way on angle mode but stay on the middle in horizont mode. Is any settings on cleanflight to fix it?
Motors and props are new.

Thanks!

First of all I would make sure the copter stays in the orientation you put it in, in Acro mode, make sure your TX sticks are trimmed probably.
Most importantly how is your center of gravity? Bad motor bad prop may also be causing this.

And I would recommend just fly in Acro mode Smile Time to forget about self-level.

Here's what I would do, fly your quad and notice the drift direction.
Now land, disarm motors. Push the throttle stick to max and push the pitch or roll in the opposite direction to the drifting. The board should blink to confirm the trim. If it is not blinking adjust your throttle using endpoints to a value high enough.

you might need to adjust your pids for horizon. click the "show all pids" in the cleanflight page to see them

Yeah you're right, but...
First, FPV, I like to land in angle/horizon mode since very often I can't see the ground properly... at least I know I'm level...
Second, I like to fly LOS as well, and despite training, is still difficult for me to fly LOS in acro mode...
Third, those FC SHOULD WORK! I might be perfectionist, but since we have accelerometers, angle/horizon modes should be okay... I've issues for ages with drifting over time when not in acro mode, on different FC... No one and nothing could help... But I'll create a new post about that..
