Will this support BF 3.1.7? Cos all my quads are using this fw at the moment.

Yes, it supports 3.1.7 (and continuous support for new versions)
All versions of BF starting from 3.0.0 are supported. Also supports Cleanflight starting from 2.0

The App looks nice, but I am having a strange problem as can not save my PID profiles. I am trying to switch between profiles via app, but it won't save the changes. I can save all other settings, but the PID profile is always the same.

Just checked the App, and everything is working as it should.

Bare in mind that :
- You can change/save any setting in any profile/rateprofile, but switching profiles is done by radio stick moves (https://imgur.com/RxZwFvi) while drone is not armed
- You can also configure radio switches (on radio and betaflight configurator desktop) to switch profiles and Rate Profiles.

- You can also do all the above on your OSD (if it supports)

The App always leaves (when saving) the FC in Profile 1, RateProfile 1 (just like BF Configurator desktop).

PS. Some FC's don't have enought memory to support Profile 3 (like some Naze's/Afroflight 32)

Just to remind that new version is available (1.16)
This solves a random issue of excessive CPU usage reported by some users.

Hi,

I've bought the app works and looks good, but here comes the bummer all my quads are on 3.2 already, I assume you will introduce support - any ETA on that ?
Also adding a full CLI - this will be great as this will allow full control over all settings regardless of version and etc...

Hi Saxin
Betaflight just released the first two RCs (in the last 24 hours), I've also made the adjustments to support the new 3.2 version (running tests now).
Biggest doudt was on the new Profile/Rateprofile sctruture, but it seams that 3 Profiles with 3 shared Rateprofiles is the new way to go.

ETA should be 2 days (I want to test changes a little more to be on the safe side), I will post here when update cames available.

... since day one (BF 3.0.0), this App keeps supporting BF releases, with a ETA of about 48hours (after official firmware release), no other App in "whatever market" does this. (again that's one of the reasons why it's not on PlayStore, fasssssst delivery without approval bottleneck)

Nice update, but the app does not update itself.

Thats one of the reason, why I like apps from Playstore or F-droid, the update work without problems and I don't have to pay for every device. There are also other ways to share a licence between devices outside of Googles Playstore and in-app purchase is a nice feature, never had problems with any of my paid apps.

Thanks for calling my attention to this (I forgot to update the current version check number), the App now updates without problems, just launch it, you will be prompted to update.

For example, XPrivacy has a licence file, you put that file on the root folder and the app is fully upgraded to Pro version. Some other apps use a licence apk file, another use licencing with the Paypal email with activation link sent per email, and so on. There a many ways, if you don't trust Google or other commercial marketplaces.

I agree with you, 2$ is not too much, but paying for each device is a really strange behavior today.


In my opinion, you should release this app on F-Droid, you will reach much more user than with "spreading the words" strategy, a lot of free, Open Source and paid apps are in this store, take a look on it.

I miss the possibility to change the throttle control protocol. For example, to change the various D-Shot protocols in the field. Can you add this?

I agree with Heliomalt. Pay for each my device is .... weird. .

I like things what works simply. Update app without F-droid or GP is uncomfortable. I Agree with raise proce for example to 5$, but license must be for each person, not for each device.

The App autoupdates by it's own, you don't need to have any kind of app store client (GooglePlay, F-Droid, Apptoide, etc) to update, the App does that by it's own (when you launch it checks for updates), can't be more simple than that !

About the sales model, well it is what it is, yes I also would have liked to had to paid for only one copy of Windows, or Photoshop, or Office (and have it installed in all my ~5 machines), but no, so can I complain ?, sure !, Do I have unlimited access to new versions (of the previous examples) ? NO !
Do you have unlimited access to continuos updates and uptodate compliance with Betaflight ? (talking about the App now) YES !

So, do you still think that 2USD is to much for that !? (even if you have to pay for your tablet & phone in separate ?)

You can always transfer the license to other device (just need to send an email to support, only takes 24 hours max, but ussually it takes a couple hours only), registered users (members of this forum) can vouch for the fast and great user suppor that is given.
