I'm not able to know how to get active Braking on my vortex pro 250, I feel that the motors don't stop as fast as the other builds I have, it is stock vortex with vortex motors 2204 2300kv 5" arms.

 04-Apr-2016, 08:08 PM If it's not enabled already, and assuming you're using BLHeli, you will need to connect the ESCs to BLHeli suite and enable Damped Light. It may be the ESCs. Active breaking work better on some than others.  04-Apr-2016, 08:10 PM IRC ESC's have braking on them by default (standard setup), You are already using it. The active breaking works just fine on them. Don't worry if they don't stop as quickly as some other ESC's when you turn off the motors. That has nothing to do with the performance of the ESC and effects nothing about the way it flies |
