First off, a HUGE thank you to Oscar for the Nirvana drawing. I had been considering this little guy for a while, but even as a grown man-child, ~$180 is still a bit of money. Especially on something I may or may not like. I will be eternally grateful for this and have been enjoying it ever since. Thank you sir!
2nd! Man this controller is awesome! The touch screen in and of itself is amazing(tad small) and responsive. There are still a few little niggles here and there with the interface or features, but the guys over at UFPV are incredibly helpful on the Facebook page. I have already had a few questions answered, and since the unit was pre-production, they had to give me a little extra help. (UID was not recognized, the firmware being rather behind, and it magically turning on with a slight thump). Besides those tiny issues, it really is a good controller. The sticks are loose, but not floppy, the screen colors are crisp and bright, the trigger switches are a god send for thumbers like me. It truthfully is a good controller. Hopefully, as long as they keep up with the development they promise, it should be a very good platform going forward.
So, in closing; thank you Oscar, thank you UFPV, and thank you IntoFPV family for giving me a place to drone on about my quadcopter obsession!
