988 to 2011 from TBS Tango 2
#1
Hi, I have always wondered why my tbs tango 2 defaults in betaflight to 988 to 2011 for the end points. Ive always manually "fixed" it by using rxrange command in the cli. Anyone know why thays the default and if I should change it?

It corresponds to the 10-bit value sent for each channel (2^10 = 1024) mapped to the traditional 1000us-2000us PWM scale. Since 2^10 is a little more than 1000, the difference is split evenly above and below that range.

So if the midpoint is still 1500 does it matter to set the endpoints to 1000 and 2000?

ok I have a little bit of an infuriating problem. When I set the endpoints by using rxrange 0 988 2011 etc... the midpoint now reads 1501 instead of 1500. If I leave the endpoints alone the midpoint is at 1500. Any suggestions?

This didn't happen when I used Crossfire only with ELRS.

Thanks!
