6S Cell swap help!
#1
Hey guys.. I have 2 tattu 1300mah batteries. One has one dead cell (#3) and the other battery has cell 3,4 and 5 fried ahowing 0 volts. The battery with the bad 3rd cell feels like water mush so I understand its fried. The other cells from the lipo with cells 3 4 and 5 toast, still has firmness to from (2) of the dead 0volt cells. Bottom line is I would like to make a 6s combining these 2 batteries if possible.. can I do this?

Seeing as the rest of the cells in the two batteries are FUBAR, is it really worth combining the remaining cells for what likely would be short lived?

Have you load tested the good cells and checked their internal resistance to see if it's even worth your effort and the risk?

I have not checked for resistance however I will definately figure out how to. I did the swap today and all is good. A lot easier than expected Wink

And no.. one cell from one 6slipo was bad..the other 6s had 3 bad cells. I simply took a good one from the crap6s and swapped it. I'm certain the remaining 2 will come in handy later Wink
