388 If budget is still a problem, I would go with Spedix ES 30a.
The reality is, your budget is blown because of the motors. You had the incorrect size motors in the first place. I have those red bottoms Emax on one of my quad that I still fly, they still have plenty of power and half the price. By the time you can handle the power of these motors, you will be looking at a new build anyway.

0 30-Dec-2017, 09:57 AM (This post was last modified: 30-Dec-2017, 09:57 AM by MicD.) Guys, what is the recommended VTX to get, and antenna?
I might grab a Runcam Eagle 2 Pro and at least install it until I go full FPV.
Budget allowance has gone up a little (woot!), still haven’t ordered yet.

0 Hi guys, thanks again for all of your suggestions.
So it seems I did a big change. Ordered the ImpulseRC Helix kit! A few reasons why:
- It looks like an easier first timer build
- Hardware that matches for a cleaner build and hopefully easier programming process, oh and seems good community support
- Gorgeous looking frame (like the true x shapes)
- Obvious good quality parts and reports of good quality
I know this has blown my budget but heck, always happens to be me that forgets the $ once I do more research. So this is the remaining set up ordered:
Emax LS2206 2400KV
Dalprop T5050C
Hobbywing XRotor micro 30A
FrSky QX7 + R-XSR
I know this is overkill for a first time build, I just honestly got addicted to wanting the good stuff first round.
