#1
Hello

i have a 36 x zoom camera like this https://www.banggood.com/FPV-14-Son...s=detail-left-viewhistory__5&cur_warehouse=CN
now i need to be able to zoom with it. in this zoom video you can see how i would llike my set up to be:

Seem like he only have battery to camera and monitor and some sort of zoomcontroll. Dont really know exactly what to get for ut to work.

Hi dengro9,

the camera is controlled via a servo tester, one of those: https://www.banggood.com/search/servo-tester.html, it is simply plugged in using the rightmost servo wire.

He is using two battery packs:
one for the servo tester (because they usually work on 4-6V)
second for the monitor and camera, they need 12V. (your monitor/goggles may use different voltage)

Does that answer your question?

Best,
Konrad

wow thanks so much , been posting two days on different forum and finally someone that knows.

Lets see if i manage to get all the correct things.

1. servo tester. dont  what multifunctional means. It obviously has to stop when i need so it doesnt just zoom in fully and i cant stop it. https://www.banggood.com/GT-Power-Alumin...rehouse=CN

2. googles: https://www.banggood.com/Eachine-EV800D-...rehouse=CN

Connecting the camera to the googles? I can see it says " video in 3.5". Guess i need some sort of adapter so i can plug the cameracables in to my googles?

Or can i put a transmitter on the camera and send directley to the googles? It says " Usage: for 1.2G/5.8G  transmitter."in the camera description.

3. Cables? Really have no idea what to use.

4. battery. Servotester says 4.8-6v. Camera says 12 v. Dont i need anything beccause its different?

Vould this battery work? it says its 11.5 v but my camera is 12 https://www.banggood.com/ZOP-Power-11_1V...rehouse=CN

1. servo tester can act as a standard knob without any "smart" functions - rotate the knob left (0-25%) for zoom out, middle (26-50%) does nothing, rotate right (51-100%) zoom in.
2. you need a 3.5mm jack, like this https://www.banggood.com/3_5mm-4-Pole-St...rehouse=CN you iwll need to solder black and yellow wires, experiment with this, I don't know how it should be soldered for your goggles.
3. I don't know what kind of wires you have on the goggles and the camera, personally I would just resolder them together.
4. yes, servo tester needs 4.8-6V, you need a power source that can deliver this voltage. It can be a separate battery or you can use a voltage regulator (with a bit of soldering).

This battery will work for the camera.

I have looked at this camera a couple of times, 36x optical zoom is great, but a 700TVL sensor... Not so much, I want to know if it might be possible to replace the sensor with something else, like the new Caddx for example?

After i checked videos on youtube with that 700 tvl camera i must agree that it doesnt look that good.

Therefore i wonder if its possible to buy this one and connect to the googles? its an ip camera: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-arri...d7d3&tpp=1

Looks extremley good for the price at least.
