With all the diversity stuff for FPV now, I was wondering if there were similar things for the TX/RX side of things.
I have a Turnigy 9xr Pro with a FrSky XJT module, and I have found that many of the places I fly have odd "dead zones" where I sometimes get a failsafe. One park I go to I can fly 500m+ in one direction without a RSSI beep, but if I go 150m in one specific area, it will give the first warning beep, and then before it can give two or three it will lose contact and failsafe (or in lucky cases, I get control back and make a controlled emergency landing).
I have the 5dbi gain omni on my TX from FrSky http://boltrc.com/index.php?route=produc...uct_id=565 , and the X8R on my quad, but I also have a patch antenna for the XJT that has a strong signal but only in like 120 degree arc? Sadly I cannot connect both, I think.
Is there any way to have two transmitter antennas somehow with my 9xr Pro / XJT? Somehow boost the power? Any other tips?
Sorry if this is a noob question lol
Thanks!
