16x16 stacks keep failing 5volt regulator on fc or pin
#1
Its happened to me several times now so I'm going to stop using the stacks that have pins on them. Just trying to see if I can still salvage these the same way I would salvage a AIO board by providing external 5 volt regulator to a 5 volt pad. Does the same thing work for stacks? Thanks all.

Yes, the concept is the same. Just provide 5v and gnd from an external regulator or power source to the 5v and gnd pads on the controller.
