i'm running high sierra on imac and cant get betaflight to open. any one else having this problem? ive downloaded 10.9.0 and installed it in my apps. when i go to open icon just bounces then stops and nothing happens. help

Your problem is probably the same as the one described in one of the currently open Betaflight GitHub repo issues at the link below, Follow the instructions in the workaround posted by haslinghuis and hopefully that will work for you too...

I use an iMac and almost always I have to go into settings/privacy and unblock the install.
If that doesn’t work then like Snowlepard was saying there’s a command prompt that’s needed which GitHub has.

i'm lost. when is the next version coming out? or should i just try emu? what are my options?

doesnt work for me. I even tried up down up down left right left right a b a b select start. lol. what a joke.

Do you own or have access to an Android device that has OTG capabilities? If yes, then you can connect an OTG able between your FC and Android device and then install / use the SpeedyBee app to configure any settings and flash firmware.
