I have some osd issues.. After configuring and saving all the required elements and disconnected from configurator when i power up with lipo half of the elements are correctly saved in the desired position. All the elements in the upper half of the screen are saved ok but the elements in the lower half are presents but in wrong position, they are all overlapped. I also tried to save with lipo plugged but without result. Fc matek f722se and bf 4.4.0 Thanks | | | Replacing ufl connector on cable side | Posted by: mstc - 29-Mar-2023, 11:53 PM - Forum: Tools - Replies (4) | | Is it possible to replace the female u.fl connector on the cable side of antennas or is a specialized tool needed for this. I was very clumsy and managed to chop off the ufl connectors on two perfectly good antennas. These female connectors seem very hard to find, unlike the male smd plugs. Has anyone tried replacing these u.fl plugs on the cable-side or know a source for them? | | | JHEMCU GF16 No OSD | Posted by: mstc - 29-Mar-2023, 10:25 PM - Forum: Flight Controller - Replies (6) | | Setup this JHEMCU GF16 stack, but the video out gives a black screen. When power cycled a few times, it did show the BF OSD and image twice, but it faded to black after a few seconds, and can't seem to get it at all anymore. Changing PAL/NTSC settings didn't make any difference. The soldering looks clean and the pads are widely spaced. Is there some OSD component to diagnose, is there some common OSD caps or diodes that fail? I did test fly without the OSD, and the gyro on this board does seem to perform normally. Despite the ridiculous filter/pid values it ships with, resetting it to BF defaults seems to fly without any odd behavior. This seems to be a very nice sub $40 stack, F405, nice layout, easy soldering, includes baro/blackbox, too bad qc is not great. | | | Radiomaster Ranger ELRS Module + RP3 | Posted by: handlex84 - 29-Mar-2023, 01:04 PM - Forum: Radio Transmitter and Receiver - Replies (2) | | Does anyone happen to know if the Radiomaster RP3 diversity receiver will work with the Radiomaster Ranger 2.4GHz ELRS Module (mounts to the rear of my Radiomaster T16XS). I’d imagine so, but I only ask because I’m not seeing any mentioning of so on the website. Whereas it specifically lists the RP1 & RP2 ELRS receivers. | | | ELRS ver.3 setup | Posted by: hawk01 - 29-Mar-2023, 01:19 AM - Forum: Radio Transmitter and Receiver - Replies (5) | | hello all ELRS users! as a newbie into this rc link, i was fortunate enough to have the bnf seller get my quad in the air by providing setup services like binding, etc. as i feel my way through the transmitter ELRS LUA, i was able to manage the numerous settings to my preference and more specifically the choice of packet rate which i set to 500Hz only which i thought was enough. after a couple of days uneventful flying i decided to fiddle with the ELRS LUA settings while the quad was bound to the transmitter. as i scroll dwon the menu, there is a DEVICES option in bold where i see the quad’s receiver ID? i ticked on it and there are two items of interest. 1. TLM 100mw default 2. packet… F1000 default i left the TLM to 100mw default as it had the highest value. but i selected 500Hz value on the packet setting in order to match the transmitter setting value. i flew thereafter and did not notice anything profoundly different. now i am just curious the quad was flying ok despite the different packet settings for TX and RX. inputs are much appreciated! cheers! | | | |
