[edit] Sorry need to take this back. I know it's lame. But what's lamer is the fact that these guys are all koombaya and roses when you're buying from them ... turns out totally different story when you need to return something. May as well be a stranger off the street. Sincerely, the.naive Posts: 2,410 Threads: 136 Likes Received: 1,790 in 1,052 posts Likes Given: 3,302 Joined: Jan 2017 Reputation: 50 I totally agree! Hopefully we can add RaceDayQuads to the list as well. LOL ... DoP, I actually excluded them on purpose cos I got pissed at them for their super ghetto "First Class" shipping. I run my own e-commerce shop so I know a fair bit of the tricks of the trade. They are using some negotiated service that falls between parcel post and first class. It is super annoying because the tracking does not update until the package is literally out for delivery. Not to mention it is slower than the "First Class" you actually paid for. Case in point, I ordered an antenna from RDQ last Saturday. Then I ordered another antenna from getFPV on Monday. They are both in Florida and I am in California. getFPV's order arrived Thursday. RDQ's order tracking just finally updated this morning to say it is arriving today. This happens ALL the time. I know you could say I am splitting hairs but to me, it's about the principal. Don't tell me it's "First Class" when it's really not. I called them out on it on email haven't heard back lol. [edit] I count my blessings and knock on all manner of wood though that I've got Pyro Drone near me. USPS Priority orders in the morning typically get's to me the next day!! Yeah it does always throw me off see two options the same but one has tracking. Im a cheap though and just go with cheap options. Im in Ohio and they usually only run a day behind GetFPV at most if ordered at the same time. RDQ shipped Sunday at about 4am so someone is staying late Saturday or they are working Sundays. My package arrived today, Tuesday, and everything is correct as expected. GetFPV will still be here with no extra wait as far as I can see or expect. But their package said shipped Monday (label processed) but has just left Florida at 5am this morning (Tuesday) and scheduled for Thursday delivery. Both have always served me very well! • Posts: 3,288 Threads: 129 Likes Received: 2,740 in 1,644 posts Likes Given: 2,969 Joined: Apr 2017 Reputation: 65 RDQ has won the shipping contest for me... LIPO's aside, all general merchandise purchases arrive in 2 days from their Orlando facility to San Diego consistently. GetFPV is a day behind on that, but still one of my favorite shops. When I started building, they were my exclusive "goto" vendor and I will always have a huge soft spot for them I split my business between those two for everything but "sundries" like standoffs or fasteners which I order in bulk from Asian distributors. Strange. I just looked at the historic tracking information and RDQ shipments hit Seminole-Orlando distribution and then transit direct to San Diego's hub before coming a few miles north to my local hub. I would think the routing is the same for GetFPV. Either way, I can be confident that any package either sends will arrive within 2 or 3 days unless it contains batteries and then it takes an extra day.
