Exploring a New Bando
#1
Wanted to check this place out after spotting it on GoogleEarth (my backup job plan is to be a satellite analyst for the cia Wink ) It's a pretty good abandoned building that used to be a sprawling restaurant.
Parts of this bando were really dark and the HDZero system did a great job of utilizing what light was available. Not great penetration through brick and concrete walls, but luckily I'm pretty comfortable clambering through abandoned buildings.
A great time out flying and really gorgeous conditions despite the cold.

Dang. The kitchen equipment is still there. That stuff would be long gone around here. Very cool site and nice flying.

It surprised me how much gear was left in there. I was eyeing one of the butcherblock prep tables in the kitchen that will likely end up going to waste or scrap, shame....
Always fun to do a bit of urban exploring. It's some of the little true adventure that's available in populated areas. The drones are such a great compliment to exploring abandoned places.

You need a P3R dust mask if you are going to be traipsing around in random buildings. Asbestos is a real thing and a real problem when doing urbex.

Also when you went through that partially broken window, that was seriously ballsy. But got a smile out of me. Surprised you didn't do something with the canopy rails above the walkway. A quick dive through, maybe a powerloop. Tongue
